Mission Statement
To provide a
common platform where all Indo-Americans can communicate with
each other,
find common grounds and
become a strong political force. This way we can help each
other for the overall advancement of Indo-American community in the United
States and work towards a stronger US-India relationship.
We have a community of 2.5 million
Indo-Americans in USA and it is one of the best educated and most
affluent Asian American communities. We, as a community, should be
able to deliver the vote in meaningful way by promising candidates
a certain bloc of votes. That way we can make a congressperson
win or lose and pay attention to the issues concerning us.
Indo-Americans.org
is a non-profit online organization serving all Indo-Americans in the United States. All
members of Indian American Community are welcome to join
free membership. Here we will
create many online resources to bring all Indo-Americans and the
major organizations together and keep you informed of the upcoming legislations in congress. When
issues of concern come up for congressional consideration, we will send out 'action alert'
to Indo-Americans members throughout the
nation so we
can write
to our congressman with single click of a button. Your comments are always welcome. Please e-mail Amit
